Effective date: 01 February 2026 | Last updated: 31 January 2026
Applicable to the Kaliris website and digital channels
1. Publisher / Website Operator
The website and its contents are published and operated by:
- Kaliris [Kaliris AG]
- Registered address: Kägiswilerstrasse 17, 6060 Sarnen, Switzerland
- Commercial register / UID: CHE-192.949.562
- Email: info@kaliris.swiss | Website: https://kaliris.swiss
2. Scope and acceptance
These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kaliris website, including any pages, content, documents, and digital services made available through it (the “Website”).
By accessing the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Website.
3. Relationship with other documents
These Terms apply only to the Website itself. They do not replace contractual terms for products or services.
- General Terms & Conditions (GTC): govern transactions and services (e.g., sourcing, sales, bespoke creations, appraisals, and related engagements).
- Privacy Policy: explains how we process personal data when you use the Website or engage with us.
- Cookie / tracking notice (if applicable): describes cookies and similar technologies used on the Website.
In case of conflict, the document specifically applicable to the relevant relationship prevails (e.g., the GTC for transactions, the Privacy Policy for data processing).
4. Informational nature of content (no advice)
The Website is provided for general information and presentation purposes. Nothing on the Website constitutes legal, tax, investment, financial, or other professional advice, nor a recommendation to buy or sell any asset.
Gemstones and jewellery are specialised assets. Any references to rarity, market context, historical results, or indicative values are provided without guarantee and may not reflect current market conditions or the attributes of a specific item.
5. No binding offer; enquiries
Unless expressly stated otherwise, information displayed on the Website does not constitute a binding offer. Availability, pricing, and specifications may change without notice.
An enquiry, request, or meeting arranged through the Website does not create a contractual relationship. A contract is concluded only once Kaliris has confirmed terms in writing (for example via an offer letter, invoice, or a signed agreement) in accordance with the GTC.
6. Accuracy, presentation and availability of information
We aim to present information carefully and in good faith. However, the Website may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
- Images and renderings are illustrative; colour and appearance may differ due to lighting, display settings, and natural characteristics of materials.
- Measurements, weights, and descriptions may be approximate unless explicitly confirmed in writing.
- Third-party certificates and reports reflect the issuing laboratory’s assessment at the time of examination.
If you notice an inaccuracy, please contact us. We will assess and, where appropriate, correct the relevant content.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Website (including text, photographs, videos, graphics, designs, trademarks, logos, and downloadable materials) is protected by intellectual property rights and belongs to Kaliris and/or its licensors, unless stated otherwise.
You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use — including copying, scraping, framing, republication, distribution, or modification — requires prior written consent from Kaliris.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Website. In particular, you must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its systems, or data;
- circumvent security measures or interfere with the Website’s operation;
- use automated tools (bots, crawlers, scrapers) except where permitted by law and our robots.txt;
- upload or transmit malicious code or content;
- use the Website for unlawful purposes or to infringe third-party rights.
Kaliris may restrict or block access where necessary to protect security, integrity, availability, or rights.
9. Communications and submissions
If you contact us through the Website (for example via a form or email), we will process your message to respond and to maintain appropriate records, in line with our Privacy Policy.
Please do not send sensitive information through unencrypted channels unless requested. Where appropriate, we can offer secure channels for exchanging sensitive documents.
Unsolicited proposals or creative ideas: if you send us concepts, designs, or proposals without prior agreement, you acknowledge that Kaliris may already be working on similar ideas and that no compensation is due unless expressly agreed in writing. This does not affect confidentiality obligations agreed separately.
10. Third-party services and links
The Website may reference or link to third-party websites, platforms, or services (including social networks and embedded tools). Such third parties operate independently and are responsible for their own content, availability, and data practices.
Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. Use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms and policies.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kaliris excludes liability for damages arising from or in connection with your use of the Website, including (without limitation) interruptions, delays, viruses, loss of data, or reliance on information provided on the Website.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by mandatory law (for example for wilful misconduct or gross negligence under Swiss law).
12. Indemnity
If you breach these Terms or misuse the Website, you agree to indemnify and hold Kaliris harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from such breach or misuse, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions and (to the extent permitted) the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms lies with the competent courts at the registered seat of Kaliris, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
Kaliris may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Website is the currently applicable version. Changes take effect upon publication, unless stated otherwise.
15. Language
Kaliris may provide these Terms in multiple languages. In case of discrepancies, the English version prevails unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
